Lizabett Russo

Lizabett Ruso is a Romanian-born artist living in Scotland who merges her native traditions with elements of contemporary jazz, avant garde folk and world music, a range of influence effortlessly spanned by her powerfully versatile voice.

Ruso has released four albums to date and has toured extensively in Europe, Canada and Asia. Her presence in the UK led to supporting acclaimed musicians such as Rachel Sermanni, LAU, Rozi Plain, Tim Edey and Trembling Bells, as well as playing prestigious festivals including the Cambridge Folk Festival, Celtic Connections and Latitude Festival. Lizabett has been nominated for the SAMA Awards 2019.
