Gates Of Light is an international collaboration between five artists across four cities, three time zones and two continents led by singer-songwriter Louise Quinn. The project features producer/musician Finlay MacDonald (Glasgow), producer/ DJ Scott Fraser (London), producer/ DJ Kid Loco (Paris) and film/art director Tim Saccenti (New York).
The group originally came together remotely, during the pandemic to make a sensory reflection of lockdown experiences in a psychedelic, dream-pop glitch landscape of future folk. A series of three digital EPs, each exploring a different city, will make up and vinyl LP release in 2024. Glasgow Edition EP was released in August 2023, with the Paris Edition EP following in January 2024.
