Ethan Gold is a songwriter, film composer, and poet, operating at the intersection of indie rock and experimental pop, or “art rock for hermits” as he calls it.
Across his career, Gold has released seven albums, including three film soundtracks (Don’t Let Go, The Song of Sway Lake, Adventures of Power), a primitive synth album Expanses: Teenage Synthstrumentals, and the covers collection Live Undead Bedroom Closet Covers. Prior to releasing his praised debut Songs From a Toxic Apartment, he produced and arranged Elvis Perkins’ debut album Ash Wednesday.
