Last Night From Glasgow (LNFG) has been working towards something special for a long time. We wanted a dedicated home for classic album reissues, done properly. That ambition is now real.We’re proud, and slightly nervous, to introduce Past Night From Glasgow (PNFG). It is our reissue imprint for overlooked, under-appreciated and much-loved records.

Past Night From Glasgow will take classic albums from our past and bring them back with care. Some are celebrated, some are maligned, and some have been ignored. All deserve respect.

Expect thoughtful remastering, carefully curated packaging, and respectful reissues. Each release will include new liner notes and, where possible, bonus tracks. This is for collectors and music fans who want great records kept in circulation.

Our first PNFG release will be “Sisters” by The Bluebells. It is a landmark Scottish pop album that deserves a proper modern reissue.

The album features the UK number 1 single “Young At Heart”. It also includes key tracks like “I’m Falling” and “Cath”. The record was a major commercial success.

Despite that success, it has been hard to find in the formats people want. It was never released on CD outside Japan. It has also been missing from digital services since the start.

Our goal is simple: make “Sisters” available again in a definitive edition. We want it to sound right and feel right.

When we launch pre-orders in May, we’ll offer CD and exclusive vinyl options. These are made for people who care about sound, presentation and collectability.

The album is scheduled for release on 27.11.20. We’ve also booked a special re-release launch event to celebrate its return.
