What busy bees we are LNFG. Let's fill you in on what's happening...
Sunday 25th May: We had the pleasure of Louise Connell joining us for an in store gig. Louise's flying high on the success of her latest album "Clients of Suddenness" entering the Scottish Album charts at number 3 on Friday!
Monday 26th May: (Ssshhh but Ian has signed another new band for 2026 - more info about this in a future post when it's officially released - CLUE: it's not the next band!)
Wednesday 28th May: We are delighted to announce that we have signed Mull Historical Society and will be releasing their new album in 2026! Colin and Ian have been chatting on and off since the 2017 when Colin had a poem featured in our McStape book.
Colin had this to say "I’m very excited to announce I’ve signed to Last Night From Glasgow — there’s a freshness to the groundbreaking work Ian and the team do at the label and I’ve admired their ethos for some time — it feels like a good fit and also a bit like bringing it all back home for me too. The nod to ABBA is just a bonus. My new MHS album - the second in my author’s collaborative series - will be ‘In My Mind There’s A Photograph’ with 12 more leading authors and it’s coming on LNFG early 2026!”
This album will obviously make its way into all members bundles in 2026 - so here's another reason, if you needed one, to join the label.
