Manda Rin (Amanda MacKinnon) is a Scottish musician and artist, known for her band Bis, formed in 1994. Bis released three studio albums before splitting up in 2003. During this time MacKinnon became a DJ as well as contributed to various other musical ventures and collaborations. Including fronting the band the Kitchen and working with Juno! and Hyperbubble. In 2008 she released her solo debut album My DNA.
In 2009 Bis reformed and released their fourth album Data Panik Etcetera in 2014. In 2019 their fifth album Slight Disconnects was released on Last Night From Glasgow.
She is also responsible for Bis artwork and held an exhibition for her collection of work titled 'Cover Versions and Other Hits'.
