Casual Worker are an electronic darkwave duo from Glasgow. Inspired by 80’s cold wave and gothic electro-pop, their sound has been described as “dark retro electronica” (The Roddy Hart Show). In April 2023, they released EP Model Number with Last Night From Glasgow. The EP explores our relationships with the digital world - exploring themes of misogyny, feminism and virtual spaces. The band released their debut EP Mouse Trap in 2022 and have since received praise from BBC Scotland, The Skinny, BBC Introducing and more.
