The Hedrons are back with brand new studio album Tired of Taking, released in November 2023. 16 years since they released their debut One More Won’t Kill Us, Tippi, Rosie, Gill and Soup bring you 10 amped up slices of rock.
The formidable four-piece formed in early 2005 in their native Glasgow. Their debut album was released on 5 February 2007 and saw the band tour extensively across the UK, Germany, USA & Canada. The Hedrons appeared at several UK music festivals, including Download, T In The Park, Isle of Wight, Skye Music Festival and Guilfest. They also undertook several UK tours between 2005 and 2008. They have been special guest openers for bands such as Sex Pistols, Rolling Stones, Social Distortion and Alice in Chains.
The Hedrons are Tippi (Yvonne Tipping) on lead vocal / rhythm guitar, Rosie McClune on lead guitar, Gill Bickerstaff on bass and Soup (Lesley McLaren) on drums. In 2022, they re-released One More Won’t Kill Us with label Last Night From Glasgow, making the album available on vinyl for the first time to mark the 15 year anniversary of its original release.
