David Luximon is a multi-instrumentalist and producer from Edinburgh. Luximon formerly released music under the moniker Vive La Rose, beginning in 2014. Luximon moved to London where he played under his own name and in various bands. With Vive La Rose, he wanted to wipe the slate clean and branch out from being a predominantly acoustic artist. The project received praise from the likes of Billboard Magazine, Daily Record, and BBC Radio Scotland’s Roddy Hart to name but a few.
Now, returning to release music under his own name, his latest album Duty of Care is an album of "life lessons" dedicated to his son. The album looks into what it means to care in our different roles; as a parent, a friend, a partner and within wider society. The album was recorded and mixed by Oliver Betts and Simon Willey.
