Creeping Bent, a.k.a. The Creeping Bent Organisation, is an independent record label set up by Douglas MacIntyre in 1994, based in Glasgow, Scotland.
Since 2021, Last Night From Glasgow has facilitated Creeping Bent releases. 2025 will be the final year of the label, marked with a celebration of album releases and a book detailing the legacy of the label, written by Douglas.
The Creeping Bent Organisation was born on 12th December 1994, the inaugural flight being A Leap Into The Void (BENT 001), a maxi-media event that took place in the Tramway theatre in Glasgow. In the intervening years almost 100 items of cultural product have been issued, including recorded artefacts by artists such as Sexual Objects, Bricolage, Jazzateers, Alan Vega & Revolutionary Corps of Teenage Jesus, Monica Queen, The Leopards, Gareth Sager, The Secret Goldfish, Vic Godard, Adventures in Stereo, The Nectarine No.9, Future Pilot AKA among many others.
