St Dukes are a four-piece from Glasgow, they formed in 2014 and have been gigging around Glasgow since. They have a varied sound but are best described as Garage Pop Rock.
The band is made up of Max Orr (drums), Lewis Douglas (guitar, vocals), Sarah Connor (guitar, vocals) and Fraser Hamilton (bass).
The band released their debut EP 'Stranger by the Day' in August 2019 to a sold-out show in Glasgow and have since been played on radio stations including BBC Radio Scotland and BBC Radio nan Gàidheal, by Vic Galloway and Rapal. In early 2021, St Dukes Last Night From Glasgow and together released their debut album in April 2022. It was recorded, mixed and produced by Chris McCrory, between Hermitage Works (London), Chem19 and Green Door (both Glasgow). The next single off the album, 'To Be Home' received radio play on Radio X and was chosen as BBC Radio Scotland's Single of the Week, receiving airplay over the course of a week on The Afternoon Show with Grant Stott.
