Happy belated New Year from LNFG! We've nearly made it to the end of January and that's one step closer to payday, warmer weather and longer days. Oh and also lots and lots of new releases from LNFG. We have so much happening at LNFG - it's so exciting!
Here's what's happening this week:
We are loving the new singles that were released on Friday (17th Jan)
- Sweet Illusions by Peter Capaldi which was released last week. You can get it here for only £1. His album Sweet Illusions is released 28th March. Pre-orders are flying off the shelves so get in quick!
- Chris Reeve released new single Eliza Grey. It is the second digital track released ahead of his debut solo album Gift of Sorts out 11 April via Edinburgh's Stereogram Recordings in conjunction with Last Night From Glasgow.
- Gates Of Light released Advance (Radio Edit) from their highly anticipated new album Gates Of Light II - officially released 14 Feb but in stock on vinyl now!
This Friday (24th Jan) we are looking forward to the following:
- F.O. Machete are playing at Nice N' Sleazys in Glasgow to celebrate their upcoming album Mother Of A Thousand (which I've been playing nonstop!) - officially released on gorgeous confetti splatter vinyl, CD and digital on Valentine's Day 2025. Limited tickets are available for only £15. You can also preorder a copy of the album vinyl, CD or digital.

The Cowboy Mouth release Fool Again - the latest single from the band’s first album in 30 years Faultlines (released 28 March but you can pre-order now). The new tracks find the quartet at their best, effortlessly reviving what was short-lived in the 90s and turning it into something new.

Stephen Hero (aka Patrick Fitzgerald, singer and bassist of Kitchens of Distinction,releases single Christopher and His Kind from his album Convalesence due out in Feb.
- A Friend of a Friend (from David Fotheringham) release a brand new three track EP Your Sweetness Shall Not Be Dimmed. It's a beauty!
Finally, a date for your diary: Friday 15th March: our 9th Birthday is coming up. If you fancy coming along to our birthday party at Cottiers grab a ticket soon as they are selling like hot cakes. The Cowboy Mouth will be there playing their new album and support from Chris Thomson, Paul McGeechan & Jerry Burns. The show will be opened by the fab Xan Tyler.
