The Blue Aeroplanes formed in Bristol in 1981 from the ashes of band Art Objects. Their debut Bob Art was released in 1984 on their own label Party Records.
Past Night From Glasgow reissued their 1990 album Swagger on vinyl in 2022 and in 2023 Last Night From Glasgow helped the band release their most recent album Culture Gun.
