We are thrilled to announce that from January 2022 onwards, Creeping Bent will form part of the LNFG family. We will provide infrastructure and financial support, manage production, distribution and marketing, leaving Douglas MacIntyre free to curate the artistic vision of the label.
Douglas MacIntyre (Creeping Bent) The Creeping Bent Organisation was born on 12th December 1994, the inaugural flight being A Leap Into The Void (BENT 001), a maxi-media event that took place in the Tramway theatre in Glasgow. In the intervening years almost 100 items of cultural product have been issued, including recorded artefacts by artists such as Sexual Objects, Bricolage, Jazzateers, Alan Vega & Revolutionary Corps of Teenage Jesus, Monica Queen, The Leopards, Gareth Sager, The Secret Goldfish, Vic Godard, Adventures in Stereo, The Nectarine No.9, Future Pilot AKA among many others. The Creeping Bent Organisation has long been an admirer of the guiding principles and ethos of the Last Night From Glasgow label. It therefore gives us the greatest pleasure to announce that future Creeping Bent albums will be released in conjunction with LNFG, starting with a new Port Sulphur album in early 2022.
