The Cowboy Mouth was formed in 1994 by Grahame Skinner, who previously came to prominence as vocalist with Jazzateers then Hipsway. Their album Life As A Dog were written and produced by Grahame and another former Jazzateers member - guitarist Douglas MacIntyre. Both Grahame and Douglas had previously worked together in White Savages, a short-lived New York loft influenced group. Yet another former Jazzateers member Mick Slaven played bass on the album, with Gordon Wilson drumming and Paul McGeechan on keyboards / distressed ambience. Life As A Dog has been remastered and reissued on vinyl.
Grahame, Douglas, Dougie and Lox aka The Cowboy Mouth return with a brand new album Faultlines, set for release in March 2025, available to pre-order now.
