Fay Fife is an enigmatic and highly regarded figure in Scottish music. She has been front woman of The Rezillos since 1976 & album Can't Stand The Rezillos is considered an art-punk classic. Despite breakups and makeups, The Rezillos are an ongoing and successful band to this day.
As a trailblazer for women in the music scene Fay has earned her reputation for her songwriting, stage presence as well as her soulful and unique voice. The Countess of Fife shows another aspect to her talents, bringing elements of punk, country, americana and gospel - all delivered from a mature woman's perspective.
Star Of The Sea was produced by Jim Sutherland and Fay Fife at legendary Castle Sound Studios and features some of Scotland's finest musicians.
