Gates Of Light is an international collaboration between five artists across four cities, three time zones and two continents led by singer-songwriter Louise Quinn. The project features producer/musician Finlay MacDonald (Glasgow), producer/ DJ Scott Fraser (London), producer/ DJ Kid Loco (Paris) and film/art director Tim Saccenti (New York).
The group originally came together remotely, during the pandemic to make a sensory reflection of lockdown experiences in a psychedelic, dream-pop glitch landscape of future folk. A series of three digital EPs are to be released, each will explore different citiess and seasons, beginning with Gates Of Light II (Glasgow Edition). The EPs will make up an album, to be released on vinyl in early 2024.
