Descripción

Ten Summoner's Tales is the fourth solo studio album by British musician Sting, originally released in March 1993 via A&M Records.

This album sees a more upbeat and positive Sting as it explores themes of love and morality within a more pop context, as compared to his prior solo albums. The title of the album is a pun on his surname and the albums songs are varied, sharp and melodic.

The opening track and second single “If I Ever Lose My Faith In You” is a powerful song, as are the beautiful “Fields Of Gold” and “Shape of my Heart”. "It's Probably Me" was the first single that was originally released in 1992 as an all-star collaboration by Sting featuring Eric Clapton, Michael Kamen and David Sanborn. It was also included on the soundtrack to the movie Lethal Weapon 3.

The album was produced by Sting and Hugh Padgham and recorded at the Lake House studios in England.

The album reached #2 on the UK, #2 on the US Billboard 200 and #9 on the Australian Albums charts.
